The range consists of men’s and ladies parkas available in khaki and black, the men’s Soft Shell Hoody in black, and women’s Funnel Neck Fitted Jacket in red.

The wonderfully bright scarlet material ensures high visibility as well as fitting easily with this year’s colourful spring/summer collections. And for men who don’t like to think too much about what to put on, the Soft Shell Hoody is sure to be this season’s key wardrobe staple. Windproof, waterproof and fully breathable, this summer’s throw over will quickly become any riders ‘old favourite’.
In an industry first, Armadillo Scooter Wear have incorporated removable d3o™ CE certified EN-1621-1 components into high impact areas of the jacket and trousers. d3o™ is a material already used in snow and riot gear, and contains ‘Intelligent Molecules’ that flow freely under normal conditions making the material soft, flexible and low profile, but lock together on shock to absorb the energy from an impact.
The parka range also protects riders from the harshest weather with a total windproof system, waterproof protection, 3M thinsulate material giving you warmth without bulk, and breathable Tech3™ fleece inner skin which traps body heat but also allows the body to breathe. To top it all, the jackets even contain a handy MP3 player pocket so when you’ve parked up, you can plug in.

Moto Euro Review of MOMO Design Fighter and Essenziale Helmet
Sunday, 10 June 2007
MOMO's first product was the steering wheel used in the 1964 Fomlula One Championship Ferrari. Since then MOMO products have been an object of desire for sports car fanatics worldwide. Custom wheels, seats, pedals and safety harnesses have made the name, a look and logo instantly recognized throughout the world. Now for the first time, the Italian Design Team and American helmet manufacturer MAX have introduced a DOT-approved lineup of helmets for the U.S. market. These MOMO helmets feature a polycarbonate shell with an expanded polystyrene liner that is even lighter than their popular European counterparts, and they outperform the safety standards required for Import. The first time you pick up a MOMO helmet, it surprises you how light the stylish it really is. They are the leaders in expert hand-crafted production. Each individual component is with precision craftsmanship and materials that accentuate a perfect combination of function and Italian style.
The first MOMO helmet we received was the "Essenziale " which loosely translates in English as "essential thing." We found he Essenziale to be elegant in its design. The matte orange color is very visible yet subtle, and grew more enjoyable the more we wore it. The Essenziale is also available in black and a wonderful color called baccarat. The antiscratch visor is attached to a delicate guilloche frame of hand-worked steel. Turning to our dictionary once again, we found guilloche to be "an ornamental border formed of two or more curved bands that interlace to repeat a circular , design."
The MOMO Essenziale has cool ornamentation, but the real eye-catcher has to be the words MOMO DESIGN laser etched on the back of the helmet's metal work. The second helmet we tested was the beautifully crafted MOMO Fighter . It's obvious the Fighter was inspired by combat flight helmets, but design takes over in the rubberized outer shell that resembles leather right down to the edge stitching. The Fighter comes in matte black, cream or yellow, with a flip down visor that shows purpose while carbon fiber and aluminum trim adds bling.
Both MOMO helmets feature liners crafted from DuPont Terinda fabric and hand sewn leather trim. MOMO helmets display style and fashion rarely seen in the US., and are available in sizes XS to XL for $395.00. See all the MOMO Design helmets at momodesign.com.
That's right Moto Forza/ Ducati/Aprilia/Benelli Escondido will be hosting their annual fashion show Saturday June 9th, at their Escondido location. Their will be plenty to see such as the new Ducati Hypermotard 1100s, which will prove to be one of the most exciting motorcycles ever produced. With input from Ducati's MotoGP racers their is sure to be a new level of excitement in the dual sport motorcycle segment.
Also on display will be MOMO Design and Laura Smith DOT helmets, they make the perfect compliment to any stylish motorcycle or garment.
Scoot! Quarterly recently ran a review of the MOMO Design Essenziale helmet in the summer issue. They outlined some of the key features of the MOMO Design helmet, however they did not mention the popularity of the helmets in Europe and Asia, also the helmets class leading shell safety, or incredibly light weight. Scooter enthusiasts may have appreciated information on how to obtain them though...
Here are sine quotes from the Modern Vespa forum about what peoples thoughts are on the newest Vespa dealer in the US.
"The shop is really nice inside and has just about every accessory or clothing item that you could ask for. Laura Smith and Vespa helmets. Corazzo jackets. The service center is open for viewing from the coffee bar."
"...rode up with some friends and I must have left before you got there Nyle. I have still yet to see your "Fire" scooter. It was a good time and we all got a shot at the MP3. My scooter was spitting out oil when I arrived and they were nice enough to throw it up on the lift and find the problem without a charge. It ended up being an oil filter that was so loose you could move it with your pinkie. So they tightened it and even filled my oil back up to the top and cleaned my seat when they saw a little dirt on it. Thank you to Michael and his crew! I will not share any pictures. It was also cool to see Jeff from Piaggio who was on hand to answer any questions."
